Why are we asking?

Although other search engines are available let’s be honest Google rules the roost.  The more nice things people say about us the higher up the search we get.  The more people that know about the Acorn Centre the more services we can offer.

Volunteering Opportunities

We always welcome new volunteers; there are roles to suit everyone. We know that the time you give as a volunteer is based on your other commitments, so if you can only do a few hours a month that is fine… if you can offer more than that, then great.
As a volunteer you will be part of a team, meet new friends, learn new skills and help a local charity.

Amazing what people power and a can do attitude can accomplish. If you are a local business that can help us with building or the garden we would love to hear from you.

Just ask for David to find out more.

Smarter collaboration

When organisations with a common aim work together, they can cut costs, improve outcomes and reduce duplication.  Collaboration is of particular importance to smaller charities who are looking for ways to create a sustainable long term future.

In simple terms let’s not continually reinvent the same wheel.
Lets share our ideas and talent so that all our communities benefit.

If you are a school, charity or not for profit drop David  a line and lets have a coffee and see how we could help each other.
